Welcome back to a new school year!
I would like to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning students and their families back to Alvin A. McKay Elementary School. I am confident you will find the school to be a positive and supportive environment with the best interest of all the learners at heart.
I hope you have had a restful and enjoyable summer and that you are looking forward to a fun, exciting and rewarding school year.
I am very excited to be part of the AMMES community as your new principal.
Returning to school is always an exciting time of the year. It is my belief as Principal that school staff, parents, guardians and volunteers must collaborate as a team to create a nuturing environment which support ALL children to explore new ideas, challenge themselves and learn to be the best of their abilities.
I encourage open communication between home and school at all times. I am enthusiastic about the challenges that lie ahead of us and look forward to meeting you and working together in the up and coming year. I am excited about being a part of your community and providing the best for your children.
