Dear parents/guardians
Please find below, a message from the superintendent to school district staff ...
As a result of the positive COVID-19 cases in the valley, and in an effort to support Nisga’a Valley Health and village governments in stopping the spread, we will be temporarily reducing school district service. I am advising you (staff) to stay home until December 4, unless contacted by your supervisor to support essential work in the service of the district. The safety and well-being of our students, families and staff remains our highest priority, but during this time, it is also important that you do everything you can to maintain connections with students and find ways to keep them learning.
Teachers will be maintaining contact from their homes with families through telephone, email, or Microsoft Teams to maintain continuity of learning. Telephone or Teams parent-teacher conferences already set for tomorrow night will go forward as planned. If you need email contact information for your child's teacher, please contact the principal.
